What would you do if you were been sent on a mission and you were commanded not to :
“Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.” Luke 10:4
This was an extreme instruction; don’t carry purse, no shoe and no greetings.
These disciples were being trained in the art of how YeHoVah provides and supply. Yeshua Messiah, was trying to teach them that your provision, your support will often come from unexpected places; not from the familiar.
The Son of Peace!
“And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house. And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again. And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.” Luke 10:5-7
The son of peace are often in unlikely places and they show up in desperate moments. YeHoVah has placed sons of peace on the pathway his laborers will take in their journey. How does YeHoVah meet the needs of his laborers?
By guiding the labourers to locate the house where a man of peace is.
Your blessing comes when you locate the man of peace. Not just anybody. Messiah instructs them not to go from house to house. Why? Your provision is not in every house.
