Listening is the secret to going deeper!
“But whoever listens to me will dwell securely, and will be at ease, without fear of harm.” Proverbs 1:33
As you pray please give time to listening. Listening is the proof of hunger, it is sign of humility. YeHoVah pours His heart to good listeners.
YeHoVah begins to pour revelation and understanding into our heart as we give Him a listening heart.
Listening is the greatest thing!
One day Yeshua went to a village, and a woman named Martha opened her home to Him. Even though Martha opened her home to Yeshua Mary her sister gave Him a listening ear.
“She [Martha] had a sister named Mary, who sat down at the Lord’s feet and kept listening to what he was saying” Luke 10:39
We can open our home to Yeshua, we can welcome Him, yet be too busy to listen to Him. We can even get too busy in prayer, that we stop listening.
Making preparation for Yeshua could even distract us from Yeshua !
The challenge is that Yeshua may not correct your distraction, He may not stop your busyness. He will allow you to prepare for Him, even when it distracts you from Him!
Yeshua Only Corrects Us When We Complain to Him!
It was when Martha complained to Yeshua to instruct her sister to join her in her preoccupation that the Lord corrected her error.
“But Martha was distracted with all the preparations she had to make for her guest, so she came up to him and said, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister Mary has left me to do all the work alone? Tell her to help me.” Luke 10:40
The missing link is this: Martha took Yeshua as her Guest, Mary took Yeshua as her Teacher!
“Our level of relationship with Yeshua is determined by our perception of Yeshua “. The worst perception we can carry is to see Him as a Guest!
Listening to Yeshua as our Teacher is the best thing!
“But one thing is needed. Mary has chosen the best part; it will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:42
Relationship grows when the soil is nourished with listening. Listening is proof of our sincerity to get to know another person better.
